First, this looks pretty solid. Second, I have been wanting a “Black Girl Period Piece” as my friend Cameron calls for it forever. Third, why do I have to wait until May?

In theaters May 2, 2014

I NEED THIS. Saving the date

A period Drama with black people.. *rips hair out in excitement*. I live for this shit.

Waiting patiently

This looks lovely and incredibly complex. I’m all about it.

Ladies of Disney → Belle

Oh cool, I haven’t seen a side-by-side comparison of the new princess makeovers yet.

I’m still not sure how to feel….I absolutely love experimenting with re-designs, and I was tired of them using the same art over and over for the princess merch, but I am also a fan of classics, and I don’t see much to reflect these ladies’ personalities and ideals, or even something from their films, in any of these re-designs.

You know Belle looked.  A guy walks around his estate in tight leather pants, you can’t help but look.

“stories and stories, about mermaids, kings and sunken treasure.”

Ugh. Perfection.

(Esmeralda! Giselle! Now we just need Meg!)
